life of an engineer..

Suppose that at time t0, a particle's velocity decreases* (bearing in mind that displacement is a vector quantity) with increasing time, as t tends to infinity, what will happen to the particle?

Oh, life as an engineer- tougher than it seems. Checked my calculations, it's not an asymptote. Better check it again.

post edit: *the particle's velocity decreases in negativity
